Ferry to Elafonisos

We drove to Pounta, all the way south on the Peloponnese, to catch a ferry to Elafonisos.
It is a short ride of about 10 min, hardly worth sitting down.
As I was standing on the upper deck, enjoying a flirtatious Greek breeze, this mother and her daughter entered the scene.
They stood by the ledge silently, framed by the sparkling blue sea, looking ahead with homebound longing while the sea parted beneath their feet.
